What is the Sustainable Impact Circle?

The Sustainable Impact Circle is a nine-month networking program for sustainability managers. Through peer case consultations, deep dives, and inspiring ideas, the program helps participants better tackle complex sustainability issues and develop effective solutions together.

Why is greater cooperation needed in sustainability?

Organizational psychologist and sports scientist, systemic supervisor & coach, certified mediator with many years of experience as a manager and in the field of organizational and personnel development in internal and external roles.

Key topics: Sustainability Management, employee participation, stakeholder management, leadership development, and sustainable working practices.

Anne Portscheller

Project manager at KATE Umwelt & Entwicklung e.V. with a focus on education for sustainable development (ESD) and climate communication.

She manages funding projects in companies and sports organizations and combines participatory educational work in sustainability management with practice-oriented project implementation. Since 2024, she has also been a lecturer in the Department of Economics at Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen.

Main topics: Consulting on sustainability management and climate communication, education for sustainable development (ESD), stakeholder participation, transformation projects in (social) companies and sports organizations.

Dates

The Deep Dives take place once a month on a Tuesday morning from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The collegial case consultation is divided into three moderated case consultations. Before the kick-off, participants are divided into groups based on defined criteria. You will receive your fixed 90-minute time slot for all three case consultations in advance. The three appointments always take place in exactly this time slot.

The possible time slots are:

  • 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
  • 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Alternatively, an afternoon slot is possible:

  • 1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.
  • 1:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

How long does the program last?

The network runs for nine months. Each month, there is a topic-specific deep dive, and in the first three months, there is a session for moderated collegial case consultation/peer coaching.

Do I have to attend all appointments?

No. Deep Dives are voluntary—you decide whether the topic is relevant to you. However, peer sessions benefit from regular participation, as they are based on shared learning and trust.

What happens at the kick-off?

The kick-off provides orientation for the process and allows participants to get to know each other for the first time

• Needs assessment
• Small group discussions for initial networking
• Short mini-impulses from various personalities

How does collegial case consultation work?

Collegial case consultation is a low-threshold, open-topic peer coaching format (90 minutes). You bring your current challenges to the table and receive immediate feedback. The first sessions are moderated, and after three sessions, the group organizes itself and can set up joint appointments as needed.

Before the kick-off, participants are divided into groups and receive a 90-minute slot for the three moderated case consultations, which take place on the respective Tuesday.

The available time slots are:
