Copilot+ PCs: Microsoft presents functions

Contents
With Copilot+ PCS, Microsoft has introduced a new category of devices. Copilot+ PCs are the fastest PCS and are best suited for the use of AI. With new functions, Copilot+ PCs are designed to provide developers with all the tools they need.
The functions in Copilot+ PCs
Copilot+ PCs are to be equipped with numerous AI functions and helpful features. Some of these features were announced and presented at Microsoft Build.
Microsoft Fabric in Copilot+ PCs
Microsoft Fabric enables developers to develop intelligent applications. This works via Data in Motion, digital information that is transported between several computer systems. Possible areas of application include customer services.
Among other things, Microsoft Fabric includes real-time intelligence, which solves certain challenges when reading out data. With real-time intelligence, data can be qualified, analyzed and organized as soon as it is collected. With an end-to-end solution as Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), decisions can be made quickly. Real-Time Intelligence is particularly interesting for data analysts , but is also aimed at experienced developers.
Microsoft Fabric is already being used by Dener Motorsport for real-time analysis and reporting.
GitHub Copilot extensions
The first extensions for the GitHub Copilot are primarily designed to allow developers to customize their Copilot experience and link it to their preferred services such as Azure, Docker or Sentry.
With GitHub Copilot for Azure, software developers can create applications in natural language with numerous functions. The extension links GitHub to the Copilot chat, which can be used to explore and manage resources, resolve issues and find relevant information.
Frontier Models in Copilot+ PCs
New frontier models enable the use of AI beyond pure text input. The new frontier models make it possible to use the multimodal capabilities of AI applications in the form of all data types such as text, images or videos.
OpenAI's new model, GPT-4o, is implemented in Azure AI Studio and available as an API. GPT-4o is the new standard for processing text, images and audio with artificial intelligence.
Phi-3-vision is a new multimodal model from the Phi-3 family of small language models developed by Microsoft. Phi-3-vision can be used to enter images and text and receive answers. This makes it possible, for example, to ask questions about diagrams or details in images. Phi-3-vision is available in Microsoft Azure.
The new Frontier Models are available in both the Azure OpenAI Playground and the Azure AI Studio. Customers can therefore experiment with the Frontier Models in the Playground or create specific applications in the Studio.
Learn and improve AWS Azure with skill it
Our Amazon Web Services seminars help you to familiarize yourself with the applications and functions in Amazon's cloud service or to improve your skills.
In the three-day course Developing on AWS you will plan applications in AWS and program them in practical exercises. You will learn how to use code libraries in AWS and work with SDKs and DIE toolkits.
Our training also lasts three days Cloud Operations on AWS. This training prepares you to become an AWS Certified SysOps Administrator (Associate). Among other things, this course will teach you how to create automated and repeatable deployments of networks and systems on the AWS platform.
