Requirements:
There are no formal prerequisites for this course. We recommend that participants have a basic understanding of or some initial practical experience with Internet/web technologies, IT infrastructure (storage, networking technologies), and/or IT service concepts.
- Understanding of the basic concepts of cloud computing, including the business benefits and cloud terminologies
- Knowledge of the technical aspects (high-level) of virtualization, including the role and benefits of hypervisors and containers and the different types of virtualization
- Understanding of emerging technologies (AI, IoT, 5G, RPA, Digital Twin and others) and how they can improve cloud computing, e.g. performance, security and faster deployment
- Understanding cloud security, governance, risk and compliance and identifying the risks/threats associated with cloud computing and defining the appropriate mitigations and best practices
- Knowledge of the strategies included in the cloud adoption roadmap and their implementation and migration for different cloud service and deployment models
This course consists of training training and is led by a trainer who supervises the participants live. Theory and practice are taught with live demonstrations and practical exercises. The video conferencing software Zoom is used.
The exam is available only in English.
Exam format:web-based, no aids allowed; questions: 40 multiple-choice questions (1 point per question); passing score: 65 percent; duration: 60 minutes (plus 15 minutes for non-native English speakers).
