You are familiar with the fundamental concepts, principles, and value system of ITIL®, as well as the product and service lifecycle
You understand the characteristics, value proposition, and lifecycle management activities of digital products and services
You describe the purpose, benefits, and challenges of ITIL® Product and Service Lifecycle Management activities from various perspectives
You will apply ITIL® value chain activities and relevant best practices in real-world scenarios
You will design and support the end-to-end management of value streams, organizational structures, and enablement principles throughout their entire lifecycle
You analyze and improve the experience across service and stakeholder journeys using appropriate methods and models
You will learn how ITIL® fits into the context of modern technologies and frameworks (e.g., AI, DevOps, PRINCE2) and prepare for the ITIL® Managing Professional Transition (Version 5) certification
This five-day training course provides a thorough and in-depth review of the official curriculum. Exercises and discussions help reinforce the material and facilitate group reflection. Sample exams and quizzes are designed to provide targeted and structured exam preparation.
Please set aside at least 20 hours outside of class time for preparing for and following up on the training.
Two exams must be taken:
Exam 1: Focus on the Product, Service, and Experience module. Exam 2: ITIL® Transformation
These exams are currently available only in English.
A few days before the course begins, you will receive e-mail from PeopleCert containing e-mail voucher for an online exam. You must redeem the exam voucher directly with PeopleCert, where you can register for an available exam date. The online exam is proctored by a PeopleCert proctor—for this, you will need a device with a microphone and camera. We recommend that you take the exam on a personal PC or laptop, as company laptops often have restrictions.
Format – Exam 1: Multiple-choice questions, Number of questions: 60, Passing score: 70%, Duration: 120 minutes
Format – Exam 2: Multiple-choice questions, Number of questions: 40, Pass rate: 70%, Duration: 90 minutes
In the exam, you will use the "ITIL® Car Rental Scenario," which provides you with background information for the exam questions.
This is an "open-book" exam. You may use the official books "ITIL® Product (Version 5)", "ITIL® Service (Version 5)", "ITIL® Experience (Version 5)", and "ITIL® Transformation (Version 5)" and take notes in them. No other aids are permitted.
"Take2" Option: This option allows you to retake the exam at a reduced price if you do not pass. The retake exam is administered online. If needed, you can add this option yourself in your PeopleCert candidate profile before booking the exam. You have up to six months from the date of your first exam to prepare for and take the retake exam.
