Requirements:
Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Windows operating system and its basic functions as well as basic knowledge of relational databases are required. You will also have practical knowledge of Transact-SQL.

The concepts and skills acquired in the course apply to all SQL Server versions (2012-2022).
- You will receive a practical introduction to the concepts and skills required to get started with the administration of SQL Server On-Prem.
- The focus is on the key areas of security, backup/restore and job engine with a hands-on approach (skills apply to all SQL Server versions from 2012 to 2022).
- Tools such as SQL Server Management Studio, Azure Data Studio and the sqlcmd utility are used.
This course consists of training training and is led by a trainer who supervises the participants live. Theory and practice are taught with live demonstrations and practical exercises. The video conferencing software Zoom is used.
The primary audience for this course is individuals who want a solid introduction to managing and maintaining SQL Server on-prem databases.
The secondary target audience for this course is individuals who develop applications that serve content from SQL Server databases.
