Enterprise Architecture Management (EAM) offers more than just a blueprint for IT. It creates transparency and a high-quality information basis for business-oriented software architecture that is aligned with the company's goals. The iSAQB-certified training course provides you with the knowledge you need to successfully implement EAM in medium-sized and large systems. You will learn how to develop an IT strategy for enterprise architecture, establish IT governance processes and structures, and create migration plans. In addition, frameworks such as TOGAF and COBIT are covered in order to apply EAM in a practical manner.

Requirements: 

  • You should be familiar with the fundamentals of architecture development as taught in the CPSA-F Foundation Level (e.g., views, patterns, architecture decisions).
  • Knowledge of business administration, such as strategies, business model development, and business process management, is helpful.
  • Ideally, you have practical experience in the field of architecture and insights into modern technologies or platforms for distributed applications.
  • Experience with typical challenges in enterprise architecture, such as IT strategy, portfolio management, and goal definition, will make it easier for you to get started.
  • Advanced knowledge of controlling, cost-benefit analysis, and investment appraisal is an advantage.

 

Technical requirements:

There are no special requirements for the training environment, as the exercises take place using cloud- and web-based tools such as Miro, Draw.io, and platforms such as Jupyter or HuggingFace. All that is needed is a stable and sufficiently fast internet connection.
