Requirements:
A basic understanding of AIMS and ISO/IEC 42001 is required to participate in this training.

The course documents are currently not available in German, therefore the lessons (course language German) are held with English documents.
- Understand the basic concepts and principles of a KIMS according to ISO/IEC 42001.
- Find out all about the requirements of the ISO/IEC 42001 standard and the resulting tasks for implementers.
- Initiate and plan the implementation of a KIMS based on ISO/IEC 42001 using the PECB's IMS2 methodology and other best practices.
- Learn how to support your organization in operating, maintaining and continuously improving a KIMS based on ISO/IEC 42001.
- Learn how to prepare for a third-party certification audit according to ISO/IEC 42001.
This training training is conducted in a group of a maximum of 12 participants using the Zoom video conferencing software.
The training combines theoretical concepts and practical examples based on real-world applications of Artificial Intelligence and enables you to understand the practical aspects of implementing AIMS.
The course contains many scenario-based exercises and multiple-choice tests that are very suitable for exam preparation.
This course is conducted in German. The official course materials are not available in German and are therefore provided in English.
The exam fee is included in the seminar price.
The "PECB Certified ISO/IEC 42001 Lead Implementer" exam meets all the requirements of the PECB Examination and Certification Program (ECP). It covers the following areas of competence:
- Area 1: Basic principles and concepts of an artificial intelligence management system (AIMS)
- Area 2: Requirements for a management system for artificial intelligence
- Area 3: Planning an AIMS implementation based on ISO/IEC 42001
- Area 4: Implementation of an AIMS based on ISO/IEC 42001
- Area 5: Monitoring and measurement of an AIMS based on ISO/IEC 42001
- Area 6: Continuous improvement and preparation for an AIMS certification audit

Examination language & duration:
If you choose an examination language that is not your mother tongue, you will be given an extra 30 minutes.
Option to repeat:
candidates who have completed the training but failed the exam may retake the exam once free of charge within 12 months of the original exam date.
