Requirements:
The "ITIL® 4 Foundation" certification is a prerequisite for this training.
- Knowing the practice success factors for the practices covered and understanding what to look out for in order to be successful
- Setting up IT asset management to maximize the value of your own assets
- Planning and implementing a suitable IT asset lifecycle for different assets
- Planning and carrying out an IT asset management audit
- Developing a suitable change enablement for the organization with different change types and change authorities
- Knowing the different types of deployments that can be distributed in the organization and when they are appropriate
- Ensure that releases are planned appropriately for the organization and that the corresponding practice is structured sensibly
- Understand the concept of configuration items to determine which CI types are relevant for your organization
The training requires at least 20 hours of additional time outside the classroom (reading the book and revision/homework). The training consists of a three-day interactive course with presentations and group exercises. Please reserve the evenings during the training for revision and/or small homework assignments. The preparation and completion of the homework contribute significantly to exam success.
The examination is held exclusively in English. The course materials and official literature are also only available in English.
You will receive a voucher for an online exam by e-mail from PeopleCert a few days before the start of the course. The exam voucher must be redeemed directly with PeopleCert, where you can register for an available exam date. The online exam will be proctored by a PeopleCert proctor, which requires a device with a microphone and camera. We recommend taking the exam on private PCs/notebooks, as company notebooks are often subject to certain restrictions.
Format: Closed book, multiple-choice exam questions, number of questions: 60, pass rate: 65% (39 points out of 60), duration: 90 minutes, no aids allowed
If you also successfully complete the ITIL® 4 Create, Deliver, and Support course, you will receive the "ITIL® 4 Practice Manager" certification.
Please note that PeopleCert will not issue your certificate if the above requirements are not met.
This training is suitable for anyone who wants to gain more practical knowledge of ITIL® operational practices. This includes operations managers and process managers.
