The course content is based on the official curriculum of the certificate »IREB® Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering (CPRE) – Foundation Level«.
Requirements:
There are no formal admission criteria for this course.
You will receive the IREB® manual in digital format approximately one week before the course starts. We recommend that you familiarize yourself with the course content and IREB® terminology before the course. This will ensure you get the most out of the course.
This requirements engineering course is predominantly interactive. Based on short impulse phases, numerous exercises are carried out and discussed together.
Participants in this course have the opportunity to document their knowledge with the international CPRE® certificate. Another plus on your CV.
You will receive a voucher and the link to register for the exam from Certible before the course begins. The voucher code must be redeemed when registering, where you can also select your desired exam date.
After registering, you will receive access data to Certible's self-service portal, where you can flexibly reschedule your booked appointment - there are no deadlines to observe and there are no additional costs.
Technical requirements:
A computer with a stable internet connection, webcam and microphone as well as one of the supported browsers (e.g. Chrome, Firefox) is required for the online exam with Certible. No installation is required.
If possible, we recommend using a private device and private network for the test, especially if your company computer or network is subject to restrictions.
In the self-service portal, you also have the option of carrying out a technical test to ensure that your technology is compatible with the examination software.
Exam format:
The exam lasts 75 minutes. On request, for example if your native language is not the same as the examination language, the duration of the examination can be extended to 90 minutes.
Approximately 45 multiple choice questions have to be answered in this time. The questions vary in difficulty and are awarded different numbers of points accordingly. No aids are permitted during the exam. You have passed the exam if you have achieved 70% of the points or more.
This course is aimed at all employees in companies who directly or indirectly define or process requirements and are involved in the development of digital or physical solutions. The course is particularly useful in the areas of requirements engineering, demand management, project management, product management, software and system development.
