Inshellisense completes inputs and Microsoft Teams cleans up

Contents
Everything is currently dominated by AI, including at Microsoft Ignite 2023, where Microsoft presented Inshellisense as an automatic completion tool and the tidying functions of Teams, among other things. Finally, we no longer have to keep our offices tidy when we go into a video conference.
Microsoft Teams receives functions for improved video conferencing
The new Microsoft Teams has left the test phase. To coincide with this, Microsoft announced at Ignite 2023 that the collaboration platform can be equipped with a new co-pilot. This co-pilot comes with a number of features designed to improve video conferencing.
Microsoft announced three important features in this context:
1Microsoft Teams blocks out background noise: Voice Isolation can be used to block out distracting ambient noise in meetings. The focus is then solely on the voice of the person at the microphone and colleagues talking in the background, for example, cannot be heard. This creates more peace and quiet in video conferences and the focus is completely on the conversation.
2.teams cleans up the background: Probably even more important for many users, especially those working from home, is the function that lets the AI tidy up the background. For example, the AI removes piles of laundry from the picture or tidies up the bookshelf. An alternative to this is decorating the background according to predefined categories. For example, adding festive Christmas decorations to the room. In the future, this feature could lead to users creating their own rooms as digital interior designers.
3.virtual rooms and avatars: While we are on the subject of dedicated rooms, it should not go unmentioned that Microsoft Teams now also offers virtual conference rooms in which participants sit together as digital avatars. According to Microsoft, these immersive spaces should be completely customizable and the avatars should be able to move around freely. The meeting can then take place on a virtual beach or in front of a digital ice cream parlor.
However, some of these features are only available with a paid Teams license or a Premium subscription.
Inshellisense automatically completes entries in PowerShell
A new open source tool for Microsoft PowerShell does not involve any additional costs. Inshellisense is the successor to IntelliSense. It is used to autocomplete entries on the command line in PowerShell.
Users of Microsoft Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code will be very familiar with IntelliSense. Inshellisense is a similar extension for PowerShell. Microsoft says that Inshellisense can handle over 600 command line tools. It is available for Windows, Linux and macOS. In PowerShell, Inshellisense supports the bash, zsh, fish, pwsh and powershell shells.
