Network security is a key issue in IT today. The TCP/IP protocol family, which is also the basis of the Internet, is at the forefront of this. This course builds on the "TCP/IP Basis" course and focuses on security aspects of the world's most widely used operating system, Microsoft Windows.
In live exercises, attacks are demonstrated in a LAB and concepts, architectures and precautions for secure Windows systems are taught.
Topics:
Requirements: Windows knowledge and basic TCP/IP knowledge
The course is explicitly practice-oriented. All exercises are carried out under Windows and not with the often unknown, unpopular Linux. Concepts and theory are derived from practical exercises.
This course is aimed at IT system and network administrators.
