What is sparks?

sparks is the mobile learning solution for future skills. Short microlearnings provide targeted impulses on the challenges of today's and tomorrow's working world. Whether hybrid working, innovation & change, customer excellence, artificial intelligence or leadership: sparks makes your employees fit for the future.

Who needs sparks?

sparks is available to all employees of your company and makes your organization fit for the future. The focus is on the targeted teaching of future skills - practical and geared towards the real challenges of the modern working world. A cost-efficient and comprehensive opportunity to develop future-proof skills throughout the entire company.

What is the minimum number of Learners required?

There is no minimum number and no upper limit - whether small teams of five or entire companies: sparks is available for organizations of any size. Individual bookings for private individuals are currently not offered.

What formats are available?

Your employees have access to various learning formats - all designed so that they can be easily integrated into their day-to-day work. Whether exciting videos, interactive quizzes, AI-based coaching or audio content for on the go: everyone can choose the format that best suits their own development goals. All content follows the microlearning approach, enabling flexible learning in the flow of work.

Is there a certificate of participation at the end of a Smart Guide?

We do not currently issue certificates of attendance.

How long does a spark last?

sparks is based on the microlearning approach. This means that every sparks is compact, practical and directly applicable. The formats range from one-minute experts with precise, action-oriented impulses to 15-minute mini-podcasts that make complex topics understandable and tangible through storytelling. Interactive formats such as quizzes or AI coaching support the continuous development of skills - in an average of five to ten minutes per unit.

In which languages is sparks available?

sparks is currently available in German and English.

How do I have to use sparks for it to work?

Every day, your employees receive three individually tailored sparks - based on their interests and learning behavior. In this way, we offer clear orientation in the development process and anchor learning with sparks as a fixed routine in everyday working life. In addition, they can use the intelligent search function to find microlearning courses that match their current challenges - quickly, easily and in line with their needs.

How can I view the use of sparks by my teams?

You receive a dashboard that shows you how often and for how long your employees use sparks.
It also provides insights into current trending topics within your team. This allows you to see at a glance in which areas of your company there are skills gaps and where there is a need for further training.

Important: The data is provided aggregated at team level.

How is sparks provided?

sparks is available as a progressive web app (PWA) and as a classic app in the well-known app stores and can therefore be used conveniently on a wide range of end devices, directly from the desktop or via the home screen. Whether smartphone, tablet, laptop or desktop PC: there is a suitable format for all employees.

Where is the data stored?

The data is hosted exclusively in Germany.

How do I access sparks?

Your employees can easily register and log in in their browser. Alternatively, access is also possible via single sign-on (SSO).

The registration does not work, what can I do?

Our tips for your registration process:

  1. Use your business e-mail.
  2. Make sure that your password meets the security requirements: at least 8 characters, upper and lower case letters, a number and a special character.
  3. If you do not receive the e-mail with the access code, check your spam folder.
  4. Note: If your company is connected via Single Sign-on (SSO), log in with the e-mail provided for this purpose.
The login does not work, what can I do?

Make sure that you use your business e-mail- or the address provided for single sign-on (SSO). If you have forgotten your password, you can easily reset it using the "Forgot password" function. If the problem persists, please get in touch with the responsible contact person in your company.

How can I recover my password?

Can't remember your password? No problem - it can happen to anyone! :) Just click on "Forgot password" and follow the instructions.

How can I contribute ideas for sparks?

Visit the "Give us feedback" section in your profile - we look forward to hearing from you!

I have discovered an error, what can I do?

Is something not working on your device or have you noticed another error? We would be delighted if you let us know. Simply click on the "Give us feedback" section in your profile.

How can I delete my user account?

To delete your user account, contact the sparks admin of your company. If you are not using sparks through a company, send us a message to teamsparks@haufe.com.

How can I invite new employees to sparks?

Feel free to contact us or Lennard Jerusalem directly if you would like to invite other employees to sparks.

How can I track my employees' use of sparks?

On your analytics dashboard, you can see, among other things, how frequently and intensively your employees use sparks, what goals they are working towards and how many sparks have already been completed.A Important: The data is only aggregated at team level.

What happens if sparks is not available?

If sparks is unavailable for foreseeable reasons, such as maintenance work, we will inform you and your employees in advance. If unexpected outages occur, you can contact us at teamsparks@haufe.com.
