Thoughts from Christian Friedrich, Managing Director Digital Learning Solutions at Haufe Akademie & Sven Elbert, Head of Analyst Services, Fosway Group on the status quo of qualification, forecasts and the LXP of Haufe Akademie.

The current situation: an unprecedented pace of change

When framework conditions change, it is the ability to adapt that counts - this has always been the case and there is nothing to suggest that this will change. We are currently experiencing an unprecedented pace of change and economic challenges at the same time.

Sven Elbert, Head of Analyst Services at the Fosway Group, describes the situation as follows:

"In difficult economic times, companies are under great pressure to capture and deploy their skills to maximize their business benefits. At the same time, employees are also feeling pressure to adapt, to upskill and develop new skills that will guarantee them a successful working life in the future. Digital transformation and AI are greatly accelerating this development."

The biggest challenge at the moment: transformation

These framework conditions also shape the Haufe Akademie 's roadmap and, in particular, our offering for those responsible for corporate learning. From discussions with our customers, we know that they perceive transformation as a particular challenge , in addition to the shortage of skilled workers and skills gaps.

Learning in the moment-of-need

It was against this background that we launched the LXP several years ago. The original idea: learning in the moment-of-need - self-directed and always when and where it is needed.

We asked Sven Elbert to give us his assessment of how he believes our offering meets the challenges of corporate learning.

He says:

"With its Learning Experience Platform , Haufe Akademie enables learners to acquire the skills they need for their professional development more quickly. This helps employees to build or deepen expertise in key areas and improve their employability. At the same time, companies in upskilling and reskilling initiatives are able to upskill their employees in ever shorter timeframes and on a large scale."

The advantages of LXP

This confirms us in what we are doing. At the same time, we know that an LXP is never "finished". We are constantly working on new functions to further support L&D. In addition to self-directed learning, our customers are already using the LXP for other areas. For uncomplicated knowledge sharing, for example. For collaboration in groups. And for making experts and expertise visible in organizations.

My team and I attach particular importance to an intensive exchange with our customers - from conception and roll-out to operation and ongoing optimization. Our promise is: We stand by our customers.

And rightly so, says Sven Elbert:

" Haufe Akademie 's continuous investment in its Learning Experience Platform is very well aligned with the training challenges faced by companies. But Learning Experience is not just about software. It's also about learning itself and the organizational context in which Learners operate. Haufe Akademie 's special client service approach supports organizations in redesigning learning for learners in such a way that significantly better results are achieved."

We are delighted with this independent assessment from Fosway - and it shows us that we are doing the right thing in challenging times.
