In management, you have a special responsibility. Not only do you have to lead teams, you also have to be able to keep an eye on the big picture. To be successful as a manager, these 10 top soft skills will help you:
1. communication skills: If you want to lead and manage, you need to be able to communicate. This applies both in direct contact with other managers and management as well as in discussions with employees. After all, others should be able to understand your plans for the company.
2. persuasiveness: As a manager, you are often faced with difficult decisions and problems that you can only solve together as a team. It is therefore all the more important to be able to convince others and inspire their motivation.
3. ability to work in a team: Even if you take a leading position in the company, you are always dependent on others. You cannot move your department or the company forward and solve tasks on your own.
4. solution orientation and willingness to compromise: As a manager, it doesn't help if you always insist on your point of view. Those who can be convinced by better arguments have a clear advantage in management.
