Anne Portscheller

Anne Portscheller

Project manager at KATE Umwelt & Entwicklung e.V. with a focus on education for sustainable development (ESD) and climate communication.

She manages grant-funded projects in companies and sports organizations, combining participatory educational work in sustainability management with practical project implementation. Since 2024, she has also been a lecturer in the Department of Economics at the University of Tübingen.

Key areas of focus: Consulting on sustainability management and climate communication, Education for Sustainable Development (ESD), stakeholder engagement, and transformation projects in (social) enterprises and sports organizations.

Management of a non-profit company in the field of sustainability and project management of funding projects for various ministries in the field of sustainability transformation and education for sustainable development

Organizational psychologist and sports scientist, systemic supervisor and coach, certified mediator with many years of experience as a manager and in the field of organizational and human resources development in both internal and external roles.

Key areas: Sustainability Management, employee engagement, stakeholder management, leadership development, and sustainable work practices.

How long does the program last?

The network runs for nine months. Each month, there is a topic-specific deep dive, and in the first three months, there is a session for moderated collegial case consultation/peer coaching.

Who is the Sustainable Impact Circle for?

For everyone driving sustainability in organizations:
Sustainability managers • CSR officers • Environmental, energy, and climate officers • Professionals and executives with a focus on sustainability in procurement, HR, communications, and other departments

Do I have to attend all appointments?

No. Deep Dives are voluntary—you decide whether the topic is relevant to you. However, peer sessions benefit from regular participation, as they are based on shared learning and trust.

What happens at the kick-off?

The kick-off provides orientation for the process and allows participants to get to know each other for the first time
• Presentation of the program & shared expectations
• Needs assessment
• Small group discussions for initial networking
• Short mini-impulses from various personalities

How does collegial case consultation work?

Collegial case consultation is a low-threshold, open-topic peer coaching format (90 minutes). You bring your current challenges to the table and receive immediate feedback. The first sessions are moderated, and after three sessions, the group organizes itself and can set up joint appointments as needed.

Before the kick-off, participants are divided into groups and receive a 90-minute slot for the three moderated case consultations, which take place on the respective Tuesday.

The available time slots are:
9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Alternatively, an afternoon slot is available:
1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.
1:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

What can I expect in the Deep Dives?

Each monthly Deep Dive provides you with:
• Expert input from a specialist
• Followed by: Small group discussions on the respective topics (e.g., climate adaptation, mobility, supply chains)
• Up-to-date specialist knowledge that can be directly applied to your practice

The topics are flexibly tailored to legal changes, trends, and the needs of the group.

What does the degree look like?

Finally, we reflect on the most important insights, look at learning successes, provide an outlook on possible follow-up formats, and strengthen the community for long-term cooperation.
