"An extraordinary learning experience that became a key moment in my professional career."
"I used to work in the marketing department at Haufe Akademie and was curious about our new learning model of Future Jobs Classes," says Myriam. "The topics were so exciting and varied - from data analytics to diversity and UX management. I just wanted to know more about it and decided to try out a few courses."
And then came the basic course in UX management and changed everything. "I had suddenly found something that really excited me. It was immediately clear: this is my thing."
"I really fell in love - with the topic, with the content, with the possibilities."
This enthusiasm led her straight to the next decision. "I knew that I wanted to continue. So I signed up for the Master Class to delve deeper. My interest and enthusiasm were piqued."
"I didn't have time to study during working hours," she admits openly. "I did most of it in my free time - on the train to work, in the evenings or at the weekend. But that was completely okay for me because I was so enthusiastic about the subject."
"Nevertheless, the combination of work and further training was unique," says Myriam. "I didn't have to complete the course to put any of it into practice. I was able to apply what I had learned to my work straight away - that was incredibly motivating."
She found it particularly exciting that many of the participants were struggling with similar challenges. "They all actually had the same problems - just in a different context," she recalls.
"It was so interesting to hear how people from other industries and with different perspectives approached the same topics. That broadened my horizons enormously."
"The Master Class learning community was really valuable. We worked on real projects and gave each other feedback. This was not only helpful, but also inspiring because I learned about new approaches that I would never have considered myself."
"Everything changed after the Master Class," says Myriam. "I gained a completely new perspective on my job - and actually on myself too." The further training was the starting signal for her move into the field of UX design. "I took the plunge and the department rewarded me with work that fulfills me completely."
"I'm impressed by how I've learned to look at things holistically," she says. "It's about keeping an eye on the users and technical feasibility as well as the business goals. This combination helps me to make the right decisions in my day-to-day work."
"I have found something that is really meaningful to me. Every day, I help people by making their working day a little better - and that fulfills me in a way I never knew before."
The knowledge of metrics and their application was particularly useful for her. "I learned how to make the success of my work measurable. This has not only given me more security, but also boosted my self-confidence. I can now show the impact of my work and that motivates me every day."
Myriam also learned a lot on a personal level. "Empathy is a superpower - I really understood that during the training. It's important both for working with users and when dealing with colleagues and stakeholders. It has had a lasting impact on my work and my personality."
"Anyone who is interested in people and thinking about how they can make their lives easier should look at the Future Jobs Class UX Manager: in," says Myriam. "It's a growing career field and you can really make a difference."
She remains open to new experiences in the future:
"It was by chance that I tried this course - but it changed everything. Without this master class, I would never have considered the field of UX design."
She still benefits from the content today. "I always refer back to the learning material when I need a specific framework or method. The material is so well prepared that it also helps in the long term." For Myriam, the training was therefore not just a snapshot in time, but a basis that she can fall back on again and again.
