FAQ
What are the advantages of taking the exam?
We offer the exam not just for the sake of grading, but to create concrete benefits for you as a learner:
- Instead of a simple confirmation of participation, you will receive a detailed examination certificate for your CV.
- The examination certificate lists the content covered in more detail than the confirmation of participation. The examination certificate also shows how well you did.
- The exam prepares you for your everyday life as a UX Manager. The transfer tasks to be submitted contribute to this, as does the presentation exam based on real-life situations. The tasks help you to think through the content in more detail and reflect on your level of learning based on the feedback you receive. The stakeholders is a practical "dry run", i.e. a kind of dress rehearsal for your tasks in UX management: convincing stakeholders of your planned UX measures in a short space of time.
- This also gives you a good marketable story as an ace up your sleeve for your next job interview: you have already prepared yourself very well for your future tasks.
- You will also receive valuable feedback from the trainer and the other participants for the stakeholders, giving you ideas for the future of your practice.
Is there a sample run-through or sample questions for the knowledge test so that you can get a better idea of how much detail they go into and how they are structured?
As soon as you have booked the exam, you will see it in your Haufe learning environment. There is also a tile with more detailed information about the knowledge test module of the exam. This tile also contains a small mini-preview of the exam format with various sample question formats. This will give you an impression of the format of the exam.
It is important to us that the exam is not designed to cram and quiz you on definitions. Rather, it is about a general understanding of the content of the basic course.
When can I take the exam?
We know that it can sometimes be difficult to find the time for the exam components in hectic everyday life. That's why we have different deadlines for the individual components of the exam:
- You have access to the online learning materials for a total of 12 months from the start of the course. During this period, you can take the online knowledge test at your convenience.
- The ETBD must be submitted by the oral stakeholder presentation at the latest.
- Following each advanced course, 2 elective dates are scheduled for taking the stakeholders. These take place a few weeks apart so that you have enough time to prepare.
However, we advise against taking advantage of the maximum processing period and recommend that our participants take the exam components as soon as possible. In the case of the knowledge test on the basic course, for example, this would be between the last webinar of the basic course and the start of the advanced course, when the content is still present. The ETBDs achieve the greatest learning success if you work on and submit them alongside your learning progress on the self-study content. We also recommend taking the stakeholders on one of the two possible exam dates following your course.
