Optimally prepared with the Haufe Akademie System check

The system check for your online event

We use various meeting tools to hold our online events. To help you get your online event off to a smooth start, you can find our system check here. Check here and now whether you meet the following hardware and software requirements:

Desktop PC or notebook/laptop:

  • Please use a desktop PC or notebook/laptop to participate in your online event!
  • The events cannot be played back on mobile devices.

Operating system:

  • Windows 10 or a more recent version
  • Mac OS from version 13

Internet access:

  • Ideally, you should have access via DSL/cable/fiber optic with at least 16 Mbit/s bandwidth. We recommend 50 Mbit/s.

Functional headset and camera:

  • Please use a headset in your online event. This will significantly improve the sound quality for you and the other participants.
  • Also make sure that the headset is connected to the computer and is set as the output medium.
  • If you are attending your event with a desktop PC, an external webcam is recommended.

Browser:

  • Prefers Google Chrome
  • Otherwise also Firefox, Microsoft Edge or Apple Safari (Mac)

If you meet these requirements, nothing stands in the way of your online event. However, if you do run into difficulties or have any questions, we have collected and answered the most frequently asked questions about the individual tools for you.

The most important thing first:

What is the learning environment and how do I register?

Your learning environment is available to you from the moment you book your event. In your learning environment, you will find all booked and completed events as well as important information and documents relating to the respective event. If you have not already done so, please register in advance using the e-mail address you provided when booking and assign yourself a password at www.haufe-akademie.de/login. Please visit your learning environment before the start of your next event.

How do I know which tool will be used for my event?

Even before booking, you can see which meeting tool will be used for the event on the store page of your event. Under "Date in detail" you will also find more information about the meeting tool and the specific requirements. Once you have successfully booked your event, you can also see which tool will be used in your learning environment.
