Examination requirements
If you have booked the Diversity & Inclusion Manager Master Class, the exam is already included. The exam can only be booked if you have completed the Diversity & Inclusion Manager Master Class with all four courses. The Master Class prepares you for the exam and concludes with it.
Form of examination
The exam is conducted online. It can be completed in all parts from home or the office within a specified time frame. It is divided into two time components:
- Digital knowledge test: Selection of 20 questions (from a pool of 40 questions) on the content from the four Master Class courses.
- Online presentation: 15-20 minutes of presentation and 15 minutes of feedback discussion of an elaborated topic from the four courses for a diversity project of your choice.
FAQ
What are the advantages of taking the exam?
We offer the exam not just for the sake of grading, but to create concrete benefits for you as a learner:
- Instead of a simple confirmation of participation, you will receive a detailed examination certificate for your CV.
- The examination certificate lists the content covered in more detail than the confirmation of participation. The examination certificate also shows how well you did.
- The exam prepares you for your everyday life as a Diversity & Inclusion Manager. Both the knowledge test and the presentation exam based on real-life situations contribute to this. The tasks will help you to think through the content in more depth and reflect on your level of learning based on the feedback you receive. The presentation is a practical "dry run", i.e. a kind of dress rehearsal for your tasks in Diversity & Inclusion Management.
- You will also receive valuable feedback on the presentation from the trainer and the other participants , giving you ideas for the future of your practice.
Is there a sample run-through or sample questions for the knowledge test so that you can get a better idea of how much detail they go into and how they are structured?
As soon as you have booked the exam, you will see it in your Haufe learning environment. There is also a tile with more detailed information about the knowledge test module of the exam. This tile also contains a small mini-preview of the exam format with various sample question formats. This will give you an impression of the format of the exam.
It is important to us that the exam is not intended to cram and quiz definitions. Rather, it is about a general understanding of the content of the Master Class.
When can I take the exam?
We know that it can sometimes be difficult to find the time for the exam components in hectic everyday life. That's why we have different deadlines for the individual components of the exam:
- You have access to the online learning materials for a total of 12 months from the start of the course. During this period, you can take the online knowledge test at your convenience.
- After the Master Class, there are scheduled elective dates for giving the presentation. These take place a few weeks apart so that you have enough time to prepare.
However, we advise against using the maximum processing time and recommend that our participants take the examination components as soon as possible.
Recommended for
