The ethical guidelines of our coaches
The basis for a trusting and successful coaching relationship.

Basic attitude
The coaches at Haufe Business Coaching...
represent a resource-oriented view of human nature, respect the dignity and self-determination of the coachee, their personal rights and their individuality.
have a clear understanding of their role and a professional attitude. They carry out their work autonomously, independently and with integrity.
are constantly striving for their own further training and development (attending seminars, congresses, supervision groups, etc.).
are committed to the following values in their work:
respect
Treating the coachee with respect forms the basis for a trusting coaching relationship. Haufe coaches respect the diversity of people and embrace inclusion.
Empowerment
They work with the coachees to develop an awareness of their own competence, their own rights and their own responsibility.
Protection
They ensure a safe working environment, confidentiality, transparent handling of conflicts of interest and are sensitive to potentially destructive tendencies in the coachee.
Responsibility
They pay attention to clear contracts with information on the objectives and framework conditions of the coaching, in which the responsibilities are also clearly regulated.
Commitment in relationships:
They practise their profession with a sincere interest in the well-being of the coachee.
reject activities and assignments that do not correspond to their competencies or values or that could lead to conflicts of interest.
expressly dissociate themselves from the techniques according to L. Ron Hubbard and from organizations that oppose or question the free democratic basic order.

Professional relationship
The coaches at Haufe Business Coaching...
work on job-related topics with the aim of making themselves superfluous in the end; they avoid creating permanent dependencies.
work with clear, mutual agreements on objectives and processes.
are sensitive to the limits of their work: if they have the impression that the coachee is no longer benefiting from the joint work, they recommend a colleague or support from another profession (e.g. therapy).
endeavor to avoid conflicts of interest; if these should arise, they will address them openly in order to find a solution that works for all parties involved.
strive for appropriate and culturally and socially correct behavior.
work on behalf of Haufe Coaching.
Confidentiality
The coaches at Haufe Business Coaching...
guarantee the confidential handling of the information they learn in the course of the process.
create and store documents relating to the process (notes, minutes, etc.) securely, i.e. inaccessible to third parties, and will destroy them after the end of the coaching. Applicable data protection regulations are binding for them.
categorically exclude the use of the information obtained knowingly for personal financial or professional gain.
will only disclose identifying information in two cases: either in consultation with the coachee or if required by law (e.g. in the case of a criminal offense).
inform the authorities as soon as an intention to endanger themselves or others becomes apparent.
