Occupational Safety

The safety of all employees is a top priority for companies. Our health and safety training helps learners to recognize hazards in the workplace in good time and avoid injuries.

Workplace Safety Training for Employees: Staying Safe in the Day-to-Day Workplace

A good occupational safety training program for employees teaches far more than just regulations. It shows your teams how to identify workplace hazards early on and prevent accidents before they happen. The law requires you to do this: Under the Occupational Safety and Health Act (ArbSchG), employers must provide regular training to their employees—in many cases, even annually. Your teams will learn to assess risks properly, use protective equipment correctly, and act calmly in an emergency. This way, you protect your employees’ health, strengthen health and safety within your company, and safeguard your business against liability risks and costly downtime.

Occupational Safety in the Office and at Computer Workstations

The office also poses risks that many people underestimate: improperly adjusted chairs, poor lighting, or tripping hazards can quickly lead to health problems. Targeted training shows your employees how to set up their workstations ergonomically and avoid common hazards. This makes workplace safety in the office a tangible reality: you prevent back and eye problems, enhance safety in the workplace, and ensure healthy, productive workdays. Occupational health considerations can play a particularly important role at computer workstations, for example, when physical strain needs to be identified early and reduced.

Occupational Safety in the Home Office and While Working Remotely

The legal regulations on occupational safety also apply to working from home. Important to know: The employer’s obligation to conduct a risk assessment does not end at the office door but also extends to your employees’ home workspaces. Appropriate occupational safety training for employees highlights what matters when working outside the office. Your teams will learn how to set up their home workspaces ergonomically, assess potential hazards on their own, make conscious use of breaks, and keep an eye on their physical and mental health. As a digital training program, this course helps employees safely implement occupational safety measures even when working from home. The Occupational Safety and Health Act helps clearly define responsibilities.

Fire Safety: Taking the Right Action in an Emergency

Fire safety training teaches your employees how to prevent fires, identify escape routes, and respond appropriately in an emergency. Those who master the basic rules protect their coworkers, increase safety in the workplace, and limit damage before it occurs.

Safe on the Road: Driver Training for Business Trips

Company vehicle use is part of everyday life at many companies and comes with its own legal obligations. If you allow employees to drive company vehicles, the DGUV (German Social Accident Insurance) requires annual training in accordance with DGUV V70. This includes, among other things, regular driver’s license checks, through which employers verify that their drivers are actually authorized to drive. Driver training teaches your teams how to safely operate company vehicles and covers the requirements of the UVV (Accident Prevention Regulations). It thus supplements the provisions of the ArbSchG (Occupational Safety and Health Act) with specific rules for employees who are on the road for business. This ensures your employees’ safety on the road while also helping you meet your legal obligations.
