TV-V for newcomers

HR work in companies that apply the TV-V (collective bargaining agreement for utilities) requires solid knowledge of the collective bargaining regulations and special features that are relevant in practice. The TV-V is regarded as a modern collective bargaining agreement for the public sector, which is intended to simplify the regulation of employment relationships and thus not only modifies the general regulations of the TVöD, but also modifies collective bargaining and general principles of labor law, in some cases significantly. This gives rise to a wide range of questions in its practical application, which have only been partially clarified by case law and literature to date and which arise again and again due to the regular new collective bargaining regulations. This basic seminar offers a practice-oriented introduction to the most important regulatory areas of the TV-V. Possibilities for using its flexibilization instruments are shown as well as current, practice-relevant decisions and current collective bargaining and industry-relevant legal developments.
