Open Badges

The digital form of certification

Open Badges are recognized, digital certificates of participation. These verifiable certificates are the current standard for integration into career networks such as LinkedIn. They allow you to digitally demonstrate your skills - simply and securely.

Strengthen personal branding - show competence

Share your Open Badges on career networks such as LinkedIn and Xing to enhance your personal profile. This gives you maximum visibility for your qualifications and skills - responsible recruiters in companies can recognize your expertise more easily and quickly.

Advantages of the Open Badges

100% trustworthiness

Open Badges are digital badges and represent the acquired learning achievement or qualification. Your Open Badges contain specific and individual information via so-called metadata, which we maintain as a certifier. This allows the badge to be clearly assigned to a person, a training course and an issuing institution. This information can be validated using official badge validator tools such as IMS .
The Open Badge data is stored in Europe and is GDPR-compliant.

In one place with one click

Your badges will be available in your learning environment immediately after the event. There you have a central location where future badges are also available "ready to hand". This will make it easier in future to share your qualifications in career networks with just one click.

Can be used online and offline

Open Badges can do even more! In addition to online profiles, badges can also be integrated as image files in e-mail signatures, on business cards or in application documents.
