Cyber Resilience Act & EU product liability

Future requirements for software, AI and digital technologies in the EU

This training is held in German.
New EU regulations such as the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) and the revised Product Liability Directive present companies with significant legal challenges. The training offers a compact, practical and well-founded introduction to the new EU requirements of the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) and the revised Product Liability Directive. The focus is on companies that develop, distribute or import software, AI or digital products. Key topics such as security requirements, update and reporting obligations, the mandatory provision of a software bill of materials (SBOM) and the preparation of the declaration of conformity are covered. Complex aspects such as the planned strict liability for software and high-risk AI systems as well as questions regarding responsibility for open source components are also explained in a clear and practical manner. Participants receive the legal tools they need to integrate the new obligations into existing processes in a legally compliant and future-oriented manner.
