What is executive coaching?
Executive coaching is personalized, professional support for individuals in leadership roles. In a confidential one-on-one session with an experienced coach, you’ll reflect on your leadership role, gain new perspectives, and develop tailored solutions for the specific challenges you face in your day-to-day leadership responsibilities.
When is executive coaching a good idea?
Executive coaching is particularly helpful when you’re facing specific challenges in your day-to-day leadership role or want to develop your leadership skills in a targeted way. For example, when taking on a new leadership position, navigating change processes, dealing with team conflicts or crisis situations, managing high levels of responsibility and stress, or when you’re facing strategic decisions and want to gain new perspectives.
Develop your leadership skills in a targeted way with Haufe Business Coaching.
Your executive coaching helps you …
Through coaching, you will reflect on your leadership behavior, enhance your effectiveness as a leader, and strategically develop your own leadership style.
Whether it’s giving feedback, resolving conflicts, or handling sensitive conversations, coaching helps you communicate clearly, respectfully, and effectively—even in challenging situations.
Especially in complex situations, coaching helps you gain clarity, set priorities, and make well-considered and confident decisions.
When structures, teams, or requirements change—whether due to new responsibilities, digital processes, or the use of AI—coaching helps you find your bearings, project confidence, and actively shape change.
Coaching helps you maintain a clear perspective, develop new insights, and take effective action—even when you’re under a lot of pressure, feeling uncertain, or facing a crisis.

Frequently asked questions
In coaching, you work together with your coach on professional issues, challenges, and areas for development. You reflect on situations, develop new perspectives, and work out concrete next steps for your daily life. Depending on the issue at hand, this may involve, for example, reflective questions, shifts in perspective, feedback, or transfer exercises. You always decide which methods make sense and how the coaching proceeds on an individual and process-oriented basis—not according to a fixed procedure or standardized solutions.
In specialist consulting, the consultant provides input; specialist training serves to impart knowledge in order to develop or expand skills and abilities. In principle, a coach is a neutral process facilitator and has a wide range of methods at their disposal. The aim is to discover, strengthen and bring out your existing inner resources.
No one other than you and your chosen coach will have any insight into the content of your coaching sessions! There is absolute, 100% confidentiality between you and your coach.
After you have submitted your request, you will receive a proposal within 48 hours with three profiles of coaches who best match your requirements and wishes. You can then choose a coach from these. Feel free to take the opportunity to get to know all candidates briefly (free chemistry call, approx. 15 min.) before you make a binding decision on the most suitable one.
In your request, you can specify which form you prefer for your personal coaching process: in person on site, online or a hybrid form. In consultation with your coach, you decide for each session whether you will meet at the coach's premises or at a location suggested by you, or whether the appointment will take place by phone or video tool.
