Learning environment
Once you have registered, you will find useful information, downloads and extra services relating to this training course in your online learning environment.
Your benefit
Public sector collective bargaining law is subject to constant change. This is due, on the one hand, to new collective agreements and, on the other hand, to case law (e.g. from the Federal Labor Court), which specifies the collective bargaining regulations.
- The training provides you with a systematic and comprehensive overview of the current pay regulations of the TVöD (VKA/Bund)/TV-L. Previous knowledge of collective bargaining law is not required.
- You will learn how the remuneration of employees is made up and develops.
- The effects of periods of absence (e.g. vacation, illness, pension due to reduced earning capacity) are also presented.
- Regulations of the TVÜ [transitional regulations of the change from BAT/BAT-O etc. to TVöD/TV-L (2005/2006)] are presented - insofar as they are still of practical importance today - with the necessary background information and examples. However, new regulations are constantly being agreed in the TVÜ, which are also presented.
- The respective collective bargaining regulations are explained in detail using practical examples.
- Important current decisions from case law are explained in an easily understandable way.
Methods
The knowledge is imparted in the form of a lecture using case studies. Practical cases deepen the knowledge imparted and are used for discussion with the trainer and among the participants.
Recommended for
Employees in the HR department of employers, employers, companies and institutions that apply the TVöD (VKA/Bund) or TV-L.
Note: The assignment of employees to pay groups is dealt with in the training "Job evaluation and grouping according to TVöD" (Webinfo No. 8727).
