Conflicts have many triggers. Constant changes in the organization unsettle people. This uncertainty increases the potential for conflict. Communication in social media also reduces tolerance and leads to more conflicts. There are other reasons for the increasing potential for conflict. Are you often called upon to deal with conflicts and mediate due to your experience, length of service and social skills? In this training , you will become aware of your unconscious skills in conflict management. You will learn the theories on how conflicts arise, the levels of conflict and tools for dealing with conflicts. You will also gain experience in group work on the importance of personal attitude in the role of conflict resolver.

Contents

The basic attitude of the conflict resolvers:in

  • Am I an arbitrator or judge, etc.?
  • Do I support the resolution of a conflict? Am I neutral and without judgment?
  • Who is responsible for the solution?

Dealing with possible role conflicts of the conflict resolvers:in

  • What roles do I have in the company?
  • What are the challenges of each role when I am called upon to resolve a conflict?
  • How do I deal with it?

Classify conflicts and the importance of classification before dealing with the conflict

  • Recognize which level of conflict is present.
  • Determine the optimum procedure from the classification.
  • Recognize and respect your own limits.

Forming working alliances for dealing with conflicts

  • Create a space of trust and transparency for the parties to the dispute.
