The content builds on each other. At the start of the distance learning course, you have access to all learning elements via your online learning environment.

If you pass the written final exam, you will receive the "certified project manager" certificate with documentation of the topics learned from the distance learning course, the number of points achieved and the exam grade. The certificate for passing the exam is issued by the Haufe Akademie .

In your personal online learning environment, all learning content will be available to you online from the start of the distance learning course. The materials are updated regularly and are available to you without restriction for 18 months. We are happy to offer you a free extension of 6 months if required.

Final examination

Examination requirement

Prerequisite is the completion of the distance learning course Project Management and the seminar "Leadership and Communication for Project Managers - Basics".

Form of examination

In addition to technical knowledge, the extent to which participants are able to apply what they have learned in practice is also tested. There is a written and oral examination as well as a presentation of the final thesis.

Exam contents

Part 1: Written thesis (approx. 15 pages, project description and lessons learned). You document a project from your practice that you have been responsible for in the role of project manager.
Part 2: Written final examination (60 minutes), presentation of the final thesis and oral examination by the examination committee in plenary.
