Crash course in IT contracts

Drafting legally compliant contracts for agile software projects, cloud computing, and AI

training
This training is held in German.
Legally compliant drafting of IT/AI contracts: This practice-oriented training a sound overview of the legal requirements of modern IT and AI projects and their contractual design. The focus is on current legal developments—in particular, the EU Data Act, the AI Act, and the latest case law—as well as an insight into US copyright/contract law. Participants learn how agile and waterfall methods, cloud computing models, and software-as-a-service (SaaS) can be mapped in a legally compliant manner. Key fundamentals such as the distinction between work contracts and service contracts, licensing issues, and copyright law are also covered in a practical manner. With enhanced legal and practical expertise, participants will then be able to identify contractual pitfalls at an early stage, minimize legal risks, and implement IT and AI projects successfully, efficiently, and in compliance with the law.
