VUCA is more than just an acronym! Every company is feeling the effects of change. Strategic, economic and operational activities must be initiated and considered holistically. Agile portfolio management is an almost indispensable discipline in strategic and agile corporate management. It combines strategic planning with portfolio planning - and thus ensures implementation while taking all key framework conditions into account.   • The core disciplines in portfolio management.
  • Portfolio process control vs. portfolio management.
  • Portfolio management as part of strategic and operational corporate planning.
  • The difference between the traditional and the strategic, agile approach.
  • Agile portfolio management in interaction with agile methods and frameworks using the example of SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) and OKR (Objectives & Key-Results).

Top-down portfolio planning and management

  • Agile and strategic top-down portfolio management: strategic management of measures, top-down initiation including target setting, bottom-up target achievement in planning and implementation.
  • Formulation of portfolio targets with the portfolio canvas.
  • Initiation of strategically motivated projects and initiatives.
  • Initiation of operationally necessary, regulatory and economically motivated projects and initiatives.
