FAQ
Many people wonder whether their current role within the team is sufficient to become a Scrum Master, or whether they need to have leadership responsibilities. The key thing is that you have already gained experience in project work or team collaboration and want to develop a basic understanding of agile working methods.
During the training, you will gain practical insight into the role of the Scrum Master and receive targeted preparation for the Professional Scrum Master™ I exam as defined by scrum.org. The training is therefore suitable both for beginners looking to strengthen their agility and teamwork skills, and for professionals aiming to take the next step in their career within an agile environment.
The Scrum Master certification demonstrates that you can help teams create value iteratively, and that you not only understand agile principles but can also apply them.
This training not only prepares you for the Professional Scrum Master™ I exam, but also teaches you the relevant roles, artifacts, and processes of Scrum in a way that is applicable to the workplace. Upon passing the exam, you will hold a globally recognized certificate that clearly demonstrates your agility and leadership skills.
The exam at scrum.org is part of the three-day training, so no additional, extensive preparation or follow-up work outside of the course is required. Of course, you also have the option of taking the exam after the training a time of your choosing.
The scrum.org exam is in English and is based on the content of the Scrum Guide. It is a multiple-choice exam consisting of 80 questions, which must be answered within 60 minutes. You must answer 85% of the questions correctly.
The registration fee includes one attempt at the exam. If you do not pass the exam, you can purchase a new exam voucher through the scrum.org website and retake the test. You may retake the exam as many times as you like; however, each additional attempt is subject to a fee.
The training is primarily designed to provide thorough preparation for the certification and to impart knowledge. In addition, theoretical Scrum knowledge is conveyed in a practical way through examples and exercises, enabling participants to apply what they have learned directly in their day-to-day work—even after the exam.
