FAQ
The training course is structured as a blended learning program. It consists of a 90-minute kick-off webinar, digital learning modules with self-study components, and a two-day in-person or live online training session.
You have the option to take the exam via scrum.org after the training. One attempt at the exam is included in the course fee.
There are no formal requirements for participation.
During the training, you will gain practical insight into the role of the Scrum Product Owner and prepare specifically for the Professional Scrum Product Owner™ I exam at scrum.org.
It is helpful if you already have a basic understanding of Scrum or have had some initial exposure to agile working. A basic understanding of the Product Owner role is also an advantage, as it will make it easier for you to follow the training content and grasp the concepts more quickly.
You do not take the certification exam during the training course; instead, you take it independently online afterward. This means that, as part of the blended learning program, you prepare specifically for the course material and then decide for yourself when to take the exam.
The exam is in English and covers the content of the Scrum Guide. It is a multiple-choice exam consisting of 80 questions, which must be answered within 60 minutes. You must answer 85% of the questions correctly.
If you do not pass the exam, you can purchase a new exam voucher through the scrum.org website and retake the test. You can retake the exam as many times as you like; however, there is a fee for each subsequent attempt.
No. You can decide for yourself when to take the exam. The voucher remains valid and can also be transferred to another person if necessary.
No. PSPO-I certification is a lifetime certification. This means that no annual renewal or recertification is required. You can find more information at scrum.org.
Yes. After completing the training course, you will receive confirmation of 14.50 PDUs.
