After completing the qualification program
The concept
In an intensive, practical 8-day course (divided into two blocks of 4 days each), you will learn all the methods and tools that a Six Sigma Green Belt needs to successfully implement improvement projects. After completing the program, you can demonstrate your knowledge in a 60-minute written exam. If you pass, you will immediately receive your certificate of participation.
You then have up to 6 months to implement your own certification project in your company using the DMAIC method. You will receive virtual support through targeted 1:1 coaching sessions with an expert from the program. Through your own DMAIC project, you will apply the knowledge you have learned directly in practice and demonstrate your expertise in Six Sigma tools and methods.
At the end of the course, you will receive the internationally recognized Six Sigma Green Belt certificate, which will prepare you perfectly to drive process optimization in your company and create real added value.
Prerequisites
To receive certification, you must complete the entire qualification program, successfully pass the written exam (optional on the last day of the program) and successfully complete a documented improvement project using the DMAIC method.
Certification project
The project serves as proof that you can apply the training content of the program correctly and in line with the situation. A successfully completed project completes your training to become a Six Sigma Green Belt, an internationally recognized training level in the Six Sigma training system.
The certification project must fulfill at least the following requirements:
- Proof of measurable process improvement.
- Proof of financial benefit.
- Structured and comprehensible documentation of the 5 DMAIC phases.
- Sustainable implementation of the improvement achieved.
Project support
You will be individually supervised and examined by one of the trainers of the Six Sigma Green Belt qualification program. This trainer will be available to answer technical and methodological questions to an appropriate extent during the project.
Registration & processing time
The certification project must be registered within 6 months of completing the qualification program. To maximize the training effect and learning transfer, you should ideally already have a project idea at the start of the program. Registration of a certification project is only possible if a coordinated project charter is available and the project has been coordinated with the responsible trainers at the Haufe Akademie . You can register for the optional certification directly via the Haufe Akademie customer service.
The project must be completed within 6 months of project registration and takes place directly at the client's premises (usually the participants' companies).
Costs
The fee for the optional Six Sigma Green Belt certification is € 600 plus VAT (€ 714 incl. VAT).
Completion of the certification project
The certification process is based on the recognized criteria of the European Six Sigma Club Deutschland e.V. (ESSC-D). The certification project and the results must be presented to the trainers in the form of a presentation (20-30 pages). The participants receive a suitable template from the trainers. If the certification requirements have been sufficiently and successfully demonstrated, the participants will be awarded certification by the trainers .
Finally, the Haufe Akademie awards the participants with their individual "Six Sigma Green Belt" certificate.
