Course

Training course to become a certified BEM representative

With a certificate from Haufe Akademie

This course is held in German.
Since 2004, employers have been legally obliged to offer company reintegration management (BEM) for all employees who have been unfit for work for more than six weeks without interruption or repeatedly within a year. In practice, however, there is often a lack of expertise for individual reintegration. In this course, you will gain a comprehensive overview of the legal basis and learn about responsibilities, tasks and the BEM process. Strengthen your communication skills and contribute specific practical cases for which you will develop solutions with the professional support of our experts . Individual 1:1 coaching rounds off the transfer to your everyday working life.

The seminars build on each other in terms of content and are coordinated. The focus here is on discussion skills. Therefore, please attend the compulsory seminars in the suggested order.

It is recommended that you have already had initial contact with the topic of BEM in your professional environment and have some practical experience so that you can contribute and discuss your own practical examples in the individual seminars. Practical knowledge is also an advantage when preparing the case study for the final examination.

You can choose topics relating to BEM, e.g. questions concerning your own role or challenging practical situations. You can also outline and coordinate the case study you want to present in the exam. You prepare by thinking about your topics in advance and, if necessary, sending them to the experts by email and agreeing them.

The exam consists of two parts:
1. 30-minute e-exam (multiple choice) on the labor law content from Module 1

2. preparation and presentation of an own case study (10-15 min. presentation and subsequent discussion in plenary with the examiners and other course participants).
