Presentation, practical examples on the PC and sample solutions.
All Office applications run under the current Windows operating systems from Microsoft. The training uses Excel version 365. Special knowledge of the Excel 365 version is not required. Excel versions of the macOS and Unix operating systems can only be supported to a limited extent in the training by the instructor. The functionality of the Excel tools cannot be guaranteed for users these operating systems.
You will need your own laptop to participate.
Please observe the following installation instructions:
Microsoft Excel (version 2019 or higher). In addition, you need the activated add-in "Data analysis tools" in the respective Excel version as well as the installed and activated COM add-in Power Pivot in Excel. Please check in advance that these add-ins are activated or have the add-ins activated by a user with administrator rights before training .

Specialists and qualified Employees with controlling and cost accounting tasks who have previously only used basic functions in Excel.
Attendance conditions

In our "Excel Tools for Controllers I" training , you will learn how you can use Excel, the "Swiss Army Knife" from the Microsoft Office family, to simplify your day-to-day controlling work enormously and make it more efficient. Our course is explicitly aimed at controlling specialists who already have previous knowledge of Excel.
Our experienced instructor starts the training with an introduction to the most important Excel functions, formulas and tables. Learn how powerful Excel can support you in controlling and accounting! Using illustrative examples and many Excel exercises, you will have the opportunity to put what you have learned into practice directly on your PC. In the course of the seminar, the complexity of the Excel functions performed will be increased. You will acquire the know-how to make comparisons, move ranges or create nested functions. As a practical example, you will create a growing diagram that guarantees a quick overview of important KPIs, especially in controlling.
Learn how to effectively make your work easier
In this training training course for controllers, you will learn how to find and use useful and flexible practical solutions for your day-to-day controlling work. Afterwards, you will not only be able to easily expand lists, but also query data across several areas and create a report, for example. These are all steps that increase the speed of your work and enable you to query data quickly and clearly. The practical seminar is given additional depth with the teaching of database functions and the evaluation and processing of text material in Excel documents.
