Do you already have experience in day-to-day HR work, have knowledge of employment law and are now switching to the public sector? Then this training is just right for you, because qualified HR work, especially in the public sector, requires a solid knowledge not only of labor law, but also of the collective bargaining regulations of the TVöD/TV-L. This training course offers a structured and practice-oriented introduction to the basics of collective bargaining law and is aimed at experienced HR managers who are moving to a public institution or a so-called TVöD/TV-L user and now need to familiarize themselves with this subject matter. Only collective bargaining regulations are explained. Many collective bargaining regulations are based on general labor law standards and supplement these. Basic knowledge of employment law (including the most important laws, such as KSchG, TzBfG, ArbZG, EFZG, BUrlG) is assumed and is not part of the seminar content.

  • Secondary employment, liability, medical examination, personnel files, certificate.

Special regulation for fixed-term employment contracts

Special features of vacation law and continued remuneration in the event of illness

Flexible working hours in TVöD/TV-L

  • Framework time, working time corridor, working time accounts, overtime, on-call duty, on-call duty.

Instruments for personnel management

  • Performance-related remuneration components, probationary/temporary management, qualification.

Onband structure of the various tables

Overview of the principles of correct classification and regrouping

  • Overview of the structure of the pay scale.
  • Principle of automatic collective bargaining, evaluation procedure, basic principles of classification law.
