Training day 1: Legal powers in the event of internal compliance incidents

• Legality obligation of the company.
• Objectives of the internal investigations.
• Liability of the compliance function and the management.
• Investigative tactics based on various case studies.
• Investigative powers of the company.
• Possibilities of technical measures, in particular video surveillance and e-mail analysis
• Data protection law, evaluation/storage/deletion of data.
• Information to the persons concerned.
• Rights of data subjects and the works council, labor law.
• Involvement of the law enforcement authorities.

Training day 2: Assignment of an experienced practitioner from the criminal investigation department

• The expert will provide you with intensive and practical information on how to plan internal investigations into compliance incidents and breaches and how to conduct compliance surveys correctly.
• In an intensive 1-to-1 situation, the practitioner plays your interlocutor, who represents a regular challenge for you.
• You will learn which strategies to use in compliance surveys and try them out in the training course using specific case studies from corporate practice.

Questioning methods and techniques, credibility assessment

• Principles of personnel verification and for successful compliance surveys
• Statement analysis to assess credibility and trustworthiness
• Aspects of communication psychology
• Validation and objectification of the results, documentation

This training provides support in acquiring the necessary specialist knowledge in accordance with Section 15 (2) of the Whistleblower Protection Act (HinSchG).
