- Recognize early warning signs and manage the risk.
- Maintain and document risk overview.
Tasks and instruments of project management
- Check and adapt the project regularly.

- Control objectives, quality and changes (change requests).
- Measure progress and create forecasts, e.g. via milestones, trend analyses and costs.
- Earned value analysis: How much was achieved - with what effort?
