Training course to become a certified psychological first aider in companies
The course comprises a 2-day basic seminar and 3 optional webinars of 4 hours each. You decide when and where you complete which course module (face-to-face, live online or a combination). You can book the modules individually or at a reasonable package price. We recommend that you attend all seminars within a maximum of 2 years and complete the exam in good time.

Methods
The course combines interactive lectures and practical case studies. Group discussions and exchange of experiences promote the transfer of knowledge. Role plays and targeted communication exercises strengthen the participants' ability to act and create confidence for real-life situations in the company. FAQ on the course to become a certified psychological first aider in companies
Special attention is paid to the practical applicability of the course content in companies. The aim is for you to acquire in-depth knowledge about mental health and mental illness and their impact on the working environment. You will expand your ability to act and communicate and will be able to provide professional support and confident guidance to those affected after the course.
After completing the course and passing the exam, you will be “ certified Psychological First Aider” with Haufe Akademie -Certificate.
For the compulsory seminar "Psychological first aid in the company", you can choose whether you want to attend the event in person or online. The optional webinars take place online.
We recommend attending the modules within a maximum of two years.
No, it is an "open course", i.e. the seminars include both course participants and people who only attend one of the seminars, for example. This ensures maximum flexibility so that every can decide for themselves whether to attend the entire course or just individual seminars or webinars.
- We recommend that you first attend the compulsory module "Psychological first aid in the company". The content of the elective webinars builds on this. Which elective modules you attend and the order in which you attend them is irrelevant and you are free to choose as you see fit.
If individual seminars have already been attended and the decision to complete the course is only made subsequently, it is possible to have the seminars already attended (within two years) credited towards the course. The prerequisite is that the seminars already attended are a compulsory or optional part of the course.
The examination consists of a 20-minute case discussion. During the examination, the extent to which you as a graduate are able to apply what you have learned to a specific case study is assessed. You will receive the case study at the examination date and present your solution to the examiner. This will be followed by a short question and discussion session.
If you are ill, you can withdraw from the exam and register for a new date. If you do not pass the exam, you can of course take it at a later date. In the latter case, the examination fee must be paid again.
