  • Hard skills and soft skills – measurable and non-measurable processes – KPI requirements.

KPI development in controlling

  • Structure follows strategy – Deriving KPIs from corporate strategy and financial targets.
  • Development of strategic and operational KPIs (e.g., ROI, EBIT, ROCE, value contribution, discounted cash flow, amortization, IRR, liquidity ratios, utility analysis, SWOT, etc.).
  • Development of industry-/company-specific KPIs by workshop participants.

KPI analysis and interpretation

  • Data sources, data flood, and data quality.
  • Analysis of KPI data using common tools in interaction with participants – swarm intelligence.
  • Interpretation and derivation of measures.

KPI reporting and visualization

  • Creation of KPI reports for different target groups and stakeholders in interaction with participants.
  • Visualization of KPIs with dashboards and charts – less is more.
  • Developing effective, recipient-oriented communication of the results.

Practice and best practices
