This PC-Seminar is held in German.
Nicht wenige DAX-Interessent:innen suchen sich die Lösungsansätze ihrer Aufgabenstellungen im Internet. Für die Anpassung der Musterlösung fehlt jedoch meist das Wissen. Hier setzt das Seminar an: Statt DAX-Funktionen auswendig zu lernen, steht das Verständnis für die grundlegenden DAX-Konzepte im Vordergrund. Beginnend mit einer verständlichen Erklärung des Zeilen- und Filterkontexts lernst du die grundlegenden DAX-Funktionen wie z. B. SUMX(), Filter(), … kennen, um anschließend die Bedeutung der Calculate()-Funktion im DAX-Kosmos zu verstehen.

Direkte Umsetzung! Arbeit am eigenen Laptop
Die grundlegenden DAX-Funktionen
- Der Zeilen- und Filterkontext.
- Die grundlegenden Skalar-Funktionen, wie z. B. Sum(), Count(), Max(), … sowie deren größere Brüder SumX(), CountX(), MaxX(), … und ihre jeweiligen Einsatzgebiete.
- Die Tabellen-Funktionen Filter(), All(), … und deren Bedeutung.
- Der initiale und explizite Filterkontext.
- Die Gefahren beim Verschachteln von X-Funktionen.
- Calculate() als zentrale DAX-Funktion und ihre Eigenschaften.
- Der allgemeine Tabellenmodus und der performantere Spaltenmodus bei Calculate().
- Der Einsatz von Variablen, um DAX-Ausdrücke besser zu analysieren.
- Kombination der verschiedenen DAX-Funktionen Calculate (), Filter(), And(), … für umfangreiche Aufgabenstellungen.
Die Time-Intelligence-Funktionen
- Periodenvergleiche erstellen mit z. B. SamePeriodLastYear ().
- Vorjahres-, Vormonatsvergleich mit PreviousYear, PreviousMonth(), DateAdd().
- Kumulierte Summenberechnungen mithilfe von TotalYTD(), TotalQTD(), TotalMTD() und DatesYTD(), DatesQTD(), DatesMTD().

Präsentation, Praxisbeispiele und zahlreiche praktische Übungen am eigenen PC, Musterlösungen.
Bitte bringe zum Seminar einen eigenen Laptop mit.
Empfohlen für
Mitarbeitende und Fachkräfte, die im Controlling bzw. im Finanzwesen tätig sind und ihre Auswertungen in Excel-PowerPivot und Power BI auf solide Füße stellen oder ausbauen möchten. Excel- oder Power-BI-Grundkenntnisse und Power Query-Grundkenntnisse sind empfehlenswerte Voraussetzung zur Teilnahme an dem Seminar. Vorkenntnisse in DAX sind nicht zwingend erforderlich.
DAX kann sowohl im kostenfreien Microsoft Excel Add-in Power Pivot (ab Excel 2010) als auch in Power BI eingesetzt werden. Somit kann das Seminar von Excel-User:innen wie auch von Power-BI-User:innen besucht werden.
