It’s not here yet, but it’s coming: the revised Pay Transparency Act implementing the Pay Transparency Directive (ETRL). Not everything is dictated by “Europe”; the German legislature still has some leeway, particularly when it comes to fulfilling reporting obligations. We are curious to see if and how they will use it—a low-bureaucracy approach has been promised. Here, we will present the new EntgTranpG in detail, with a focus on employers’ reporting obligations. We will also highlight existing software that facilitates compliance.
