Making conflicts tangible and resolving them - coaching with 2 communication professionals

This training is held in German.
Crossed arms, rolled eyes ... do you know what it's like when a conversation suddenly turns sour? What role does body language play in this and what role do our perceptions play? Discover in this power workshop what your posture reveals about you and how the other person reacts to it. Reflect on your impact through self-awareness exercises and proactive feedback sessions. Learn which body signals calm or escalate conflicts and develop relaxation techniques. Understand the importance of posture, gestures and facial expressions for persuasive communication and the connection between inner and outer posture. In the workshop, we work with tools from mediation, systemic approaches and the attitude of positive psychology. The power workshop will be conducted jointly by the two communication professionals and coaches Jens Klocke and Hartmut Müller-Gerbes. Jens Klocke has worked behind the camera as a TV author and coach for presenters such as Rainer Calmund, Hartmut Müller-Gerbes in front of the camera as a journalist and former spokesperson for Peer Steinbrück, among others. So you get qualified feedback from two professionals from both perspectives. In short: optimal input and output.

The language of the body

  • What does your posture say about you?
  • How does your counterpart react?
  • And above all: How do you listen actively and appreciatively?
  • Importance of inner and outer posture, gestures and facial expressions.

Self-perception - how we appear

  • Mirror or window: what does your body show?
  • Analysis and perception of your own body language, especially in conflict situations.
  • Learning through feedback rounds: What are we sending out? What do we receive?

Body language in conflict situations

  • Ignition spark or bucket of water: which signals calm, which escalate?
  • Maintain your posture: Relaxation techniques.

Analyze conflict situations

  • What is the other person saying without speaking?

  • Body in balance: how do you stay open and confident?
  • Pacing and mindset.
  • Practical exercises: Defuse conflicts through body language.

Making empathy visible

  • How do you build bridges without words?
  • Create trust with gestures and facial expressions, listen actively.
