Examination requirement
Prerequisite for participation in the examination seminar is the completion of all required course components: One compulsory seminar and four elective seminars from the elective seminar pool (web info no. 36386) or alternatively participation in the distance learning course "HR Management" (web info no. 30346) together with the training "Strategic HR Management". In addition, the completed management summary must be submitted to the Haufe Akademie four weeks before the examination date.
Please only book the examination date if it is foreseeable that the examination can be taken promptly (in 3-5 months), taking into account the required seminar attendance as part of the course and the general level of learning.
Form of examination
In addition to technical knowledge, the extent to which candidates are able to apply what they have learned in their own HR practice is also assessed.
There is an oral technical discussion. This relates to a specialist article and the content of the compulsory seminar "Strategic HR Management". The specialist article is made available in the learning environment on the day before the examination so that participants can already deal with it thematically and give it some initial thought. The second part of the examination consists of a presentation and defense of the management summary prepared in advance in front of the plenum (consisting of participants and examiners).
Exam contents
Preparation: Preparation of management summary
A management summary (15-20 presentation slides) is prepared in advance. In this, the participants reflect on an HR project from their own company. A relevant aspect of their own company's HR work can be freely chosen as the focus of the content. In this way, practical knowledge is further expanded and direct learning success is ensured!
On the day of the exam: oral expert discussion and presentation of the management summary
- Oral technical discussion, duration: 25 minutes per participant.
- Presentation of the management summary in plenary, duration: 15 minutes + 15 minutes of questioning by the examination committee.
Topic of the management summary
A relevant aspect of HR work in your own company can be freely chosen as the content focus. Where possible, impulses from the course should be visibly incorporated.
Scope of the management summary
The management summary should comprise 15-20 presentation slides.
