This training is held in German.
With more than 450 functions and numerous analysis tools, Excel offers everything you need to solve data-specific tasks in the HR and personnel area. However, given the high demands placed on specialists and managers in the HR sector, it is not enough to know the basic functions. In this training , you will get to know the best and most important spreadsheet techniques, learn how to set up a modern data model and practice using practical examples. You will practise the safe use of (nested) functions when setting up calculation models, activate the BI tools for importing data from external sources (databases, SAP, CSV, etc.) and use PivotTables and PivotCharts to generate clear, informative key figure dashboards.

Import, prepare and link data

  • Data import from a wide variety of sources according to the ETL principle (Extract, Transform, Load) with Power Query.
  • Large amounts of data and complex calculations with Power Pivot and DAX functions.
  • Linking databases, time management and pay systems, CSV and text files in the data model, transforming, converting and cleansing data.

Fast and flexible data analysis with PivotTables and PivotCharts

  • Ad-hoc reporting on complex issues.
  • Distribution and frequency analyses.
  • Visualize figures, present them clearly and informatively with pivot charts.

  • Calculate age structure, attendance management, working time and flexitime overview, payroll accounting, import external data, public holidays per federal state, fluctuation, calendar week, key figures in human resources, wages and working hours accounting, import and evaluate SAP data, statistics on additions/departures, timetables, appointment calendar, vacation plan, remuneration tables, Word serial letter.
