Advanced training for IT baseline protection consultants (BSI)

The course fulfills the prescribed 16 teaching units in accordance with the BSI guidelines. You will reach your goal safely in two and a half consecutive days. This is how you learn in this training course:

Live webinars: In the online seminars, you will work on the content together with the trainer and other participants. The topics are explained in a practical way using a company example. You will receive answers to your questions, concrete assistance and instructions to deepen your knowledge and apply the skills you have acquired in practice.

Learning impulses: The practical example of the company, exercises on the individual topics for further consolidation and exercises for exam preparation are available to you.

Learning community: A digital learning community is available to you during the course. Exchange ideas with other participants and the trainer and ask questions.

Learning environment: In your online learning environment you will find useful information, downloads and extra services for this qualification measure after you have registered.

The main objective of this course is to learn how to set up an information security management system (ISMS). The focus here is on the development and implementation of the necessary documentation and processes in order to achieve certification in accordance with ISO27001 based on IT baseline protection according to the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI). After this training course, you will be familiar with the following learning content and learning objectives:

• You will learn how to deal with information security norms and standards that you can successfully apply and implement to your own processes and components.
• You will receive a comprehensive overview of the IT baseline protection procedures and can adapt these to your individual requirements after the training.
• You will learn how to use the IT-Grundschutz compendium effectively and apply it to your specific organizational circumstances.
• You will learn how to create IT baseline protection profiles and to what extent you can apply them to your own processes and components.
• You will be able to prepare for an audit and take the necessary measures for a successful audit process.
• You develop skills in the business continuity management process and can initiate, analyze, introduce, practice and improve them.
