This is how you learn in this course
The course exceeds the prescribed 16 teaching units in accordance with the BSI guidelines. Over 2.5 consecutive days (20 teaching units in total), you will learn all the content from the BSI curriculum and prepare yourself optimally for the "IT-Grundschutz Consultant (BSI)" exam.
training online training: In the 2.5-day training training course, you will work through the content together with the trainers and other participants. All topics are explained in a practical way using an example. You will receive answers to your questions, specific assistance and instructions to deepen your knowledge and apply the skills you have acquired in practice.
Self-study material: You will be provided with the practical example and exercises to follow up the training and prepare for the exam.
Learning community: A digital learning community is available to you during the course. Exchange ideas with other participants and the trainers and get answers to your questions.
Learning environment: In your online learning environment, you will find useful information, downloads and extra services for this training course after you have registered.
Certificate of attendance and Open Badge: As a graduate of this course, you will receive a certificate of attendance and an Open Badge that you can share on LinkedIn and other professional networks.
The aim of the course is to impart specialist knowledge on setting up an information security management system (ISMS) in accordance with the standards of the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI). The focus is on the development and implementation of the necessary documentation and processes in order to meet the requirements of ISO 27001 and BSI. After this training course, you will be familiar with the following learning content:
- You will learn how to deal with information security norms and standards and find out how you can successfully apply and implement them to your own processes and components.
- You will receive a comprehensive overview of IT baseline protection (BSI) and can adapt the necessary measures to your individual requirements.
- You will learn how to use the IT-Grundschutz compendium effectively and apply it to your specific organizational circumstances.
- You will learn how to create IT baseline protection profiles and how to apply them to your own processes and components.
- You will be able to prepare for an audit and take the necessary measures for a successful audit process.
- You will gain an overview of business continuity management and will be able to initiate, analyze, introduce and improve emergency and recovery processes.
