Does your company take an inclusive or exclusive approach to talent management? What is a talent manager actually responsible for and what does "talent management" actually mean in business practice? In this training , you will create the basis for the successful implementation of talent management in your company. Learn how to develop and introduce holistic talent management step by step, taking into account the areas of attraction, development, retention and placement. You will receive valuable impulses through numerous application examples.

Contents

Step 1

  • Who is actually a talent in our company? What characterizes a talent and how is it determined? What are the talent indicators in your company and what does it look like in other companies?

Step 2

  • Some locate talent management in the area of talent acquisition, while others place it in the area of talent development. However, talent management is more than "just" the performance of these two functions. Learn about holistic talent management and what holistic talent management concepts can look like in theory and practice.

Step 3

  • Responsibilities and accountabilities are always an issue, but who is actually responsible for holistic talent management in a company? What does the organization look like, what is a talent manager responsible for in the company, what specific tasks does he/she take on and what competencies and skills should he/she have?

Step 4

  • Once the talent management concept is in place and the responsibilities and competencies have been clarified, the question arises as to how the talent identification process is to be designed and which criteria are decisive for the internal/external talent selection process.

Step 5

  • Holistic talent management is based on the four key areas of action: attracting talent (=attraction), deploying talent (=placement), developing talent (=development) and retaining talent (=retention). What are the main fields of action here and which instruments are used successfully?

Step 6

  • How do companies implement holistic talent management today? Get to know concrete examples from large corporations to SMEs, discuss and discover approaches for your own talent management.
