Idea, production, distribution: step by step to a successful corporate podcast

This training is held in German.
The training provides practice-oriented knowledge and shows how successful corporate podcasts are designed, produced and distributed. You will learn about standard market formats and current audio trends and develop your own podcast ideas and strategies for embedding them in corporate communications. Under guidance, you will develop concrete approaches and success criteria - adapted to your communication goals - and get to know technology, microphones and co. in practical exercises. At the end, you will have a clear roadmap for implementing a successful podcast strategy.

Podcasting and its current status

  • Why podcast? What makes corporate podcasts attractive - even compared to media formats such as video.
  • Formats at a glance: Solo, co-hosted, interview, news, documentary? - Which format for which use?
  • Prerequisites and success criteria for auditory success.
  • Podcast production: What does it take? Audio alone is not enough. We need texts, images, hosting, marketing and more - an overview.
  • Generating ideas, goals and more - format ideas, finding a name, intro/outro and other necessary considerations for a successful podcast.
  • Storytelling - making information audible.

Strategy

  • Strategy development corporate podcast - procedure.
  • Cases for the practical (group) development of a strategy.
  • Optimizations in the strategy development process.

Production and distribution

  • Production processes.
  • Distribution strategies: What happens after production? From hosting (where is the podcast located?) to podcast platforms such as Apple Podcast, YouTube Podcast, Spotify and Co.
  • Audience acquisition and marketing.
  • Listener feedback: Collecting and utilizing comments and sound bites. How to successfully integrate feedback into the podcast.
  • Success control, KPIs.

Practical implementation: Recording / cutting

  • Group work Production: Joint implementation of a case study.
  • Practice: Editing & optimization - Audacity tool (free of charge).
  • Keep at it and develop further: Trends, using AI, conserving resources, transcription, etc.
  • AI tools (free of charge): ChatGPT, Perplexity, Copilot, Auphonic, Riverside, Podium, Cherryp.AI.
