Praxis Lab: Modern working world

The "New Work Expert" course consists of nine seminar days (including two compulsory seminar days and seven optional seminar days) and an examination. We recommend starting the course with the compulsory seminar, as this provides a holistic view of the topic of New Work in companies. In the elective seminars, participants can deepen this view and thus develop the expertise to be able to act successfully as a New Work expert in their company. The competencies acquired from the individual seminars are documented by a final certificate as a "New Work Expert: Expert" from the Haufe Akademie . The course should be completed within two years.

As a free add-on, 3 issues of the new magazine "personalmagazin - neues lernen" are included as inspiration for personnel development in training . The magazine is sent out every 2 months and ends automatically.

Final examination

Exam prerequisite: The prerequisite is the completion of the compulsory seminar as well as the 7 additional seminar days, which are put together individually from the elective seminars. In addition, a management summary (approx. 5-6 pages) on a current or upcoming project from your own company on the topic of "Modern Working Environment" must be prepared and submitted to the Haufe Akademie up to four weeks before the "Praxis Lab: Modern Working Environment".

Examination contents:

Webinar: A kick-off webinar takes place eight weeks before the practical day (exam day), in which the participants get to know their experts and each other. In addition, the course of the training event is discussed and initial ideas for the management summary and other ideas can be exchanged in the group. In this way, participants benefit in advance from the network of experts in the modern working world.  

 

Learning support: Between webinar and practice lab: NModern working world there are some video impulses and other content with questions and content on the topic of the modern working world. These are intended to inspire possible topics and help with the creation of the management summary. In addition, attendees can exchange ideas, brainstorm together and forge initial ideas.

every participant presents the submitted topic from the management summary. The topic is then discussed, questions from the other attendees and the experts are answered and ideas and experiences are exchanged. Of course, participants can also put their own questions to the panel. 

This is followed by networking with each other. This is helpful for starting small initiatives together, exchanging know-how and best practices, which at best help with the implementation of new concepts in your own company and make work easier.

We would like to emphasize at this point that the "Praxis Lab: Modern Working World" is not a classic examination setting. It is much more an inspiring final event in which the attendees and experts discuss and plan the final task and the upcoming transfer steps as equals.
